Hello, friend. If you are running iTunes below version 11, I can help you. Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left hand side there should be your iPod name, go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod. Or You may try this ipod transfer, it's
a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete,
upload, play, copy, etc. It's much easier to use than iTunes. http://www.ipod-transfer-copy.com/ipod-iphone-to-computer-transfer-cucusoft.html

Hi, You can do play list from your PC. By connecting your MP3 player to the PC through Usb cable..
Things You'll Need:
* Computer * Media player * Digital music files
Creating a playlist on your computer is an easy way to organize your music. Playlists allow you to organize music by different artists or different genres. More advanced playlists can even sort your music based on when it was added or how often you play a particular song. Creating a playlist is an easy task regardless of the media player you use to play your music.
Determine what songs you would like to add to your playlist.
Create a new playlist in your media player. Depending on your media player, this step will vary. There is usually a "Create Playlist" button that you can click to create a new playlist. In iTunes, this button is on the bottom lower left corner. In Winamp, click the "View" menu and select "Playlist Editor".
Select the songs that you want in your playlist from a new Windows Explorer window. If you are using a Macintosh computer, select the songs from a new Finder window. You can hold down CTRL to select multiple tracks. Drag and drop these selected songs into the new playlist you have just created.
Save the playlist you have just created. Most media players have a "Save Playlist" button. Other media players such as iTunes will automatically save the playlist for you when you first create it. In Winamp, click the "Manage Playlist" button in the bottom right corner. In the following context menu, click "Save Playlist". Name the playlist whatever you want and then choose where you want it to be saved.
If you want to delete music from iPhone, you can take fully advantage of iTunes. After you purchased songs in iTunes Store on iPhone, your iTunes will also save the purchase history, so you don't have to worry about losing the purchased music files. When you connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, iTunes will launch automatically and recognize your iPhone. You can create a new playlist which contains only the music you need, and then sync it to your iPhone. By doing this, you can remove the unwanted music from iPhone.
Click the iPhone icon at the upper left corner.
Choose Music in the left sidebar.
Check Sync Music choose Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres.
Select the playlist which only contains the songs you need. Then click Sync.
There should be a cable that was included that has a USB connector on one side, and what appears to be a headphone connector on the left side.
1. Connect the headphone-like connector into the headphone jack on the ipod shuffle.
2. Connect the USB connector on the other end of the cable into the computer.
3. Start iTunes (if iTunes does not start automatically)
4. Drag music from your iTunes library to the device that appears on the left side
Alternatively, you can change the settings on the iPod to automatically sync with your library, or with a specific playlist that you make. To do so:
(steps 1-3 remain the same)
4a. Select your device on the list to the left above your playlists but below your music/video/etc libraries
5a. Click the Music tab from the screen that appears when you select your device
6a. Check the box that says "Sync Music" and you may either leave at it this to automatically sync your ipod with your music library (what is in your music library will be on your ipod) OR check a box next to the playlist you want from the list that becomes available when you checkmark "Sync Music"
You need to create a playlist for the iPhone. This isn't intuitive and I don't know why it's this way. It works great, there just isn't anything explaining what to do. This seems to snag Windows users the most. Maybe Mac users are already used to doing things this way? I don't know.
Below is a picture of my iTunes. Look down in the lower-left corner and see that my playlist is highlighted. At the very bottom-left corner you can click the plus sign to create a new playlist. Then drag all of the music you want to the playlist. Finally, in the music tab of your iPhone, make sure you click the playlist you just made to sync all music on that list to your phone.
if you synch it yes it will wipe it out - you can get software to back your ipod back to your computer so I would personally delete all the play lists and re do it. your music will be in my documents --> music --> itunes so you can re add it that way and re sort the playlists.
If its on mac os then it will be under your music folder ( macintosh hd --> users --> your username --> music --> iTunes
It may be that your itunes library file may have gotten corrupted so once you have gotten it sorted out close down itunes and go back into your music folder and itunes folder and make a backup copy of your itunes library files.
Assuming your not moving your music files around in side of the music or itunes folder it should be fine.
1. you should have an ITUNES installed on your computer and if you dont have download it on their website.
2. everytime you plug your ipod it will be recognizable.
3. look for a song or music file that you like and make a playlist.
4. plug your ipod and it should recognizable with itunes.
5. drag a file from a music folder to the itunes
6. then when its there on the itunes use the add to playlist locating your ipod. by the way if you didnt use ITUNES for dragging music then it wont play on your IPOD.
download the latest version of itunes from here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then install the program.
Copy your music over to itunes either by copying your CD's or importing your music that you already have on your computer, you can do this by going to File>add folder to library or add file to library and go to where your music is and import. This will convert your music to be played in itunes and to be recognised by your ipod. Once you have done this, create a playlist of music that you want on your ipod. Go to File>new playlist. and rename the playlist to a name more suitable. Then select which songs you want on your ipod by righ-clicking the song and send to playlist, select the playlist that you just created. Once you have your playlist and are happy that you have all of the songs that you want, plug your ipod into the computer, itunes will pick the ipod up and load the necessary drivers for it. You will notice a little picture of your ipod on the left hand side of the screen, click on it then click on and update your ipod with your playlist.
