I have a scheduled task set up to do a backup of a specific file. It is on the domain and it will run but it stops too quickly as the backup file has not been backed up for a while. It will not produce an error report either or any warnings. I have checked the event logs but cannot find anything that would help to pinpoint the issue. I have changed the registry so that it points to the very specific folder and file I need it to. Any ideas as to why this would not be backed up?

- Maybe if I put the script it might help a bit to determine if I did the scripting wrong. C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Documents and Settings\dbustamante\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data\cvs_backup.bks" /n cvs_backup.bkf /d cvs_backup /v:no /r:no /rs:no /hc:off /m normal /j cvs_backup /l:s /f G:\SourceSafe_DB\backup\cvs_backup.bkf

Check whether the back up service is running properly or not. Once restart the Help and Support service in Services menu which can be accessed by running services.msc in Run Tab.
