Pls. use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).
If your cam use manufactors rechargeble batt.:
Make sure that you are installing a fresh/ full charge battery
Remove the battery
Clean the metal contacts on the battery using a clean cloth

when you turn it on it buzzes, flashes red, and shuts off. i have charged th battery completely

Z1275 produces horizontal lines through images. Flash, auto, program....doesn't matter what mode.
