Question about Kenmore 335 CADR Air Purifier
There is a piece of styrofoam used in the construction of the air filter that is visible inside the unit. I think its there for noise reduction/insulation purposes and I wouldn't touch it if I were you. Unless you're talking about little styrofoam pieces that may have fallen in during packaging and shipping, I'd leave it alone.

You may open and remove foam not included in unit , be sure return make align everything.
