Ok I'm sorry I didn't explain it right. Ok I took apart the LCD Monitor and behind the LCD part there are 5 plugs. 4 of them are the light plugs on the edge of the screen and then there is one that plugs into the center of the monitor that is the plug I need to replace. I'm not sure what kind of a connector it is. So if you know of where I can get a new one I would like to know and if you know what kind of connector it is.

Does LCD monitor emit UV light?

The monitor use Fluorescent lamps (CCFL) to light up the screen, same kind as used for the home fluorescent lamps, no different, they are just smaller in size and lower wattages. Do you use fluorescent lamps in your house to be Green, if there are conflicting info then they would have banned fluorescent lamps a long time ago and will not be banning regular light bulbs in the future.

Which pc board are you looking for? Most LCD monitor companies use third party PCB assemblies. Can you get the name and number as printed on the PCB?
