Can Not insert table

I can not insert a table in Dreamweaver, i can type in the HTML code and edit the table. But the program will not allow me to do it through the INSERT>TABLE. I did it before but now it won't let me. I am really green when it come to this program so I might have a setting wron.

Nothing happens when I insert table. I did place the cursor where I wanted the table. Also tryed Format Table but couldn't because it didn't recognize a table because it never got inserted. I will have to probably reinstall the software.

I have the same problem

I know someone who can solve this problem

Does anything happen when you use the table insert? Make sure you cursor is where you want the table to be inserted.
Try using the Format Table option also.

I'm having the same problem... it's almost like the insert function is turned off...

In Layout mode, you can’t use the Insert Table and Draw AP Div tools that you can use in Standard mode. To use those tools, you must first switch to Standard mode.
