Can an equalizer cause hissing

I just instaled polk db691, db6.5, and polk tweeters with a kicker zx650.1 amp with apline CDE-102 receiver with the Alpine era-g320 eq. Getting a lot of hiss from all speakers,could it be from the equalizer??

The more ground the better,or check the RCA cables.or to see if the power wire is running any cables that power the inter.
