Question about Continental Manufacturing Company CE23201 Rice Cooker
It says that brown rice needs to cook for twice as long as white rice (about 50 minutes). Does that mean that when it turns from "cook" to "warm" the first time, that I should go push the "cook" button again? When I tried to cook it, it seemed like there wasn't enough water in order to cook the rice all the way through...the rice was still hard. Is there a different water-to-rice ratio for brown rice?
Yup! there is a different ratio for brown rice.
1 cup brown rice = 2 cups water
hope this helps
