my candy 514 is not draining properly - even after a spin cycle the clothes are still very wet suggesting that water is not getting out

I have a GE and my friend has the same problem with his whirlpool. Removed the frt cover adn looking at the washer on the left side there is a clean out drain. My kids leave things in pockets and filles this drain up and washer will not drain. it is very easy to do
