Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Wireless controller With one wireless controller, it just keeps going around in green. The hard drive does not pick up the one green bar. Right now, the controller isn't working. We tried reconnecting the controller, but the hard drive is still not picking up the signal. We tried new batteries, etc.... ??????

Re: wireless controller

The hard drive doesn't have anything to do with the controller. The xbox itself has a wireless communication unit inside, similar to a portable phone. It sounds like the batteries in the controller are dead, or there is something interfering (anything else that uses wireless technology, or any large metal objects).

I don't know how to get internet on my nintendo dsi

Is there wireless connection nearby? If there isn't you can't use the internet. If there is a WiFi connection go to System Settings, keep going to the right until you see Internet (tap it), then tap Connection Settings. You can tap on either Connection 1, 2 or 3 - it doesn't matter. I don't have an AOSS compatible access point, but check if you do. If you do, tap the AOSS icon and follow the directions given. Of course, I doubt that you would, so tap Search for an Access Point (Manual Setup is hard). It'll begin to search, and if it finds any they'll pop up in a list. Those with grey locks have high security, and can be connected to by searching for access points in Advanced Setup. Those that are golden and unlocked do not require a password and can be easily accessed....and those that are golden but locked need a password. Get it?

Oh yeah, and those little connection boxes with the bars tell you how strong the connection is. I go for the green boxes with 2 or 3 bars. Sometimes if there's nothing else you can try the yellow connections, but they work slower. If the network has no bars, don't tap it - it's a waste of time and will not connect.

Hope it helps...

You need to sync the xbox with the wireless controls. Turn on XBOX , there is a small button next to where the memory card goes in . Press the button - green lights will circle on the xbox, while its doing that, press + hold the tiny button on top of the controller . This will sync the control to the right XBOX

My xbox 360 wireless controller is new and the green light just keeps falshing it will not go on to 1 or 2 player.

you may have to sync your controller to your xbox. First you hold the big X button in the middle to turn the controller on. Next, after making sure your 360 is turned on, push the sync button on the 360 controller so the lights around the big X are spinning around. you will find it located at the top of your control close tp LB (it has 3 little waves next to it) Finally, push the sync button on the 360( which is located directly to the right of memory unit B or with xbox360 s nex to the part at the front with 2 usb ports) and the lights around the on/off button of the console should spin. Eventually, your console will find the controller. hope this helps

There are 3 possible reasons you're experiencing this. 1.) A component on your motherboard has went bad, causing the system calibration to jump. To fix this problem, your board would need that component replaced. If you're currently under warranty, you would send this in to be repaired. 2.) Your Wii Sensor bar is currently bad. Though, this would be my second guess, since your controllers are showing up on the screen, they're just jumping around. 3.) Your controller(s) are bad. Like option #2 , this would not be my first or second choice, however I've seen customers bring a number of bad controllers to me at the same time. It really does happen.

I would say try whichever is the cheapest and easiest stress free method for you.

If you're under warranty you could go ahead and send it in, or purchase an extended warranty to get your system repaired.

You could also try your Wii hooked up to another owner's sensor bar using their controllers to pinpoint what your problem is.

I wish you luck and hope I helped!

make sure that you run the dvd it came with, that is the most important, then go into your setting on the xbox and pick your router out of the list, the green light should stop flashing when it picks up your router, especially if you have a password on your router, you will need to enter that in the settings screen

I am trying to connect my wireless controller and it wont

Make sure you have pressed both of the pairing buttons, one of the front of the 360 just below the disc drive and the one on the remote to the right of the left trigger, this will put them into pairing mode and after about 5-15 seconds they should go solid signalling that they are connected.

I have a 100g usb hard drive that i have my music on.. i was wondering how to connect it to my ps3 like a flash drive does?

here you go

Connect the hard drive to your computer using a USB cord.

Check what the "File System" type is by going to Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Manager. Select the external drive and read the "File System" type. The file system type must be "FAT32" in order for the Playstation to recognize it.

If the file system type is "NTFS", right click and select "Delete Partition" or "Delete Volume" for Vista.

then recreate the partition but do NOT format it. Make sure you assign a drive letter (for this Tutorial, we'll use h:)

If you are running Windows, format the drive by going to the command prompt (Vista, right click on command prompt in start menu and click "run as administrator")and type in "format h: /FS:FAT32" (without the quotes). You may need to substitute your drive letter. (note this might not work on XP for a large hard drive - you may have to use a third-party formatting utility like SwissKnife; however, it does work under Vista - just be sure to use the format command from the DOS prompt, not from Windows Explorer)

If you are using Mac OS X, open /Applications/Utilities/Disk, pick the drive, and click on the 'Erase' tab. Pick 'MS-DOS (FAT)' for the file system type, and click on the 'Erase' button. This will reformat the drive in FAT-32.

Open "My Computer" and double-click on your empty external hard drive.

Create a folder system identical to that on the Playstation 3 by creating folders labelled "Picture" (not Photo), "Music", "Video" and "Game".

Load all the music you want into your music folder, all the video you want into your video folder, and all the photos you want into your picture folder. Your game folder should still be empty.

Disconnect the hard drive by clicking the green arrow in the icon list and the bottom right hand corner of the screen and select "Safely remove..."

Once your computer tells you "XXX drive can now be safely removed", unplug the hard drive from your computer.

Connect the hard drive to your Playstation 3 and use the extra space to save information and access all your extra content saved on your external hard drive
