RCA OPal M4002 MP3 Player Problem

We bought a new RCA M4002 MP3 Player for Christmas and cannot get the computer to recognize it. When we plug it into the USB port, it does not show up as a device. Any suggestions?

lost never recived usb cable or program disk for rca m4018a mp3 player, brought a belkin ipod shuffle charger, will this also put my music on my player from computer or just charge it. I down loaded firmware, jukebox Windows11 Realplayer, Updater and video converter but cannot see opal on my computer please help beedn working on this two days.

got player for christmas computer see's player then doesn't tried all routs to repair contacted rca they won't answer emails please help.

got exactly the same problem. i've rebooted, tried the Yahoo music jukebox site for ideas. Nothing seems to get it to acknowledge that i do, in fact, have the Opal mp3 player plugged in to the USB port. Help?

after pluggin it on to ur computer,go to device manager and scaan for new hardware changes..this should detect your player
