We have an error code SC998 on the Lanier 5645 copier. Do you have any ideas what this is and can it be a self fix job or will we need to call in the techies? Many thanks.

Application start error
After power on the application does not
start within 60 s. (All applications
neither start nor end normally.)
Software defective
An option required by the application
(RAM, DIMM, board) is not installed
try press . point and # boot simultaneously more than 10 sec
this reset the software, restore default and print a error report. Sometimes this it can produced by hdd. Try to change hdd.
