We have Nero 22.214.171.124 on our computer. The other day, when I went to add a file (burning movies) it wouldn't accept the file, it'd kick me back to asking what file I wanted to add. I uninstalled/reinstalled the suite and now when it begins to transcode, about 10-15 minutes into it, my computer shuts down. I can burn music w/out problem, but I can't get a movie to keep going. I don't know what the heck happened because we've never had any problems before. We tried selecting different files, rebooting, checking the pc for space issues, memory issues and of course, scanned it thoroughly. I'm clueless. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

To make a movie using Ahead Software Nero Express 6.0 follow this steps. 1. Click Nero 2. Choose Photos and Video's 3. Then click make Video CD. 4. After that select "Add Video Files" 5. Then Make sure that you set the burning speed in to 16x or lower because if it is in high speed there will be a tendency that your CD Player may not read your burned CD
Open nero start smart, select DVD, point at Photo and Video, select Burn DVD-Video Files, a window opens, click Add, a small window opens, select DVD video files with extension .VOB, that you want to burn, click Add, then Finished, click Next, select Current recorder: your DVD-burner, select writing speed, number of copies and other options if needed and click Burn

I try other things on it and it says to use the disc copier application to burn a dvd. I have searched everywhere on this progmram and there is nothing that says disc copier.
Windows movie maker is just a generic xp add on that I am sure was an after thought and never will give you good quality movies it does alright and should give acceptable results if you have a good graphics card and vga card but try useing nero to burn movies the burning speeds can be slowed right down to give exellent quality and if you just want a reasonable quality dvd you can turn the burn speed up to burn faster but you always sacrafice quality for speed on any dvd burning program unless you go get a profestional one and upgrade to much higher quality graphics and vga cards you also need a good deal of ram to
hi im wesley. what you can try is insert a dvd using nero if possible then select burn dvd video files then go to add files and search for the files on your pc add them all and say burn it should work but make sure you save the file from movie maker to a folder otherwise you wont find it.
3) Now open uTorrent and go to FILE > ADD TORRENT . Point to the above file you had downloaded of 50Kb in ur desktop. Now your torrent will start downloading the NERO DVD 8. its size is 1GB. It will take 4/5 hours on averge broadband internet connection.
4) Write me back once download started, i will give you original Nero DVD cdkey for free.
I guess that this file is from a VCD?
If you just burn that file onto a CD as a data CD it should play in your DVD player.
The AVSEQ01.dat file is already a (S)VCD file. It is in MPEG format and should be playable on a DVD player as is.
Alternatively you can import the file you want to burn into nero vision.
Once it is imported then choose to export the file as an MPEG file or burn direct to DVD.
