Question about GPS Devices
Hi, I have a problem with the Trip Computer on my Vista HCX GPS. I can't seem to get the moving time to start. The trip computer remains in the "Stopped" mode even although I am moving. All other features such as max speed and elevation work. I have the track log on so I thought this would be what it is measuring, but this doesn't appear to be the case.
Any help would be appreciated.

the antena isnt the greatest, you can get a better external one, or make sure the screen is always pointing up, and your not under tree cover or anything as it will block the signal

first off i would consult the troubleshooting section in your users manual if you dont have it contact the manufacture of the device for a manual.
otherwise try this remove the power cord and press and hold in the reset button for 2 min this may help reset the unit.
If not remove the power cord and leave the unit sit for several hours it has a re learning function built in also if you can go to www.tomtom.com to view a downloadable users
