Ok kids here you go. First turn your blue tooth off. Now hold the on/off button for at least 5 seconds (this is very important. You must hold it till the light blinks blue and red.) Now on your phone search for the device. Select the HBM- 550 and put in your 0000.
You must have the headset in pairing mode first.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
Here is the problem, what most of the people do with this LG HBM 550 is press the PWR/END button on the headsent and when the headset light turn on Blue they let the button go and try to pair the device, this is worng when light is flshing Blue only it is not in the pairing mode.
You need to press and hold the button on the head set for five second and when the light flicker red and blue alternately, now device is in the paring mode.
Using you phone when to pair this device it might ask, depending on you r phone setting for the PIN or pass code which will be "0000"
Try ,,good luck
Regards
Chinmay
I found the solution. The original password setting is a combination of zeroes - at least 4. If you did not originally change your password setting for your bluetooth from the original setting - try that. It worked for me.
