turn on the TV
and it will work just fine for about 15-20 mins. Then I lose the
picture, but it still has audio. Then after about another 15-20 mins I
lose the audio as well. Any suggestions? This TV is less than a year
and a half old. I had read on a blog or forum in the past regarding this problem and they stated it was some sort of "chip" that needed replacing. I know that this is not much help. I had done a Google search and found it. I haven't found it since.
every time i cut my tv on it will mcut back off not even a second later.the tv is only like 3 yrs old... what should i do .. do any one no a place that can fix it.....
I have a problem that is a little different than this one, but it sounds like maybe a chip replacement would be my solution also. What happens with my television is that it turns off by itself for one thing, also it activates the parental control and has put an x in the sap selection so when the NBA basetball playoff game came on last week, I got the Spanish feed and the game play by play was in Spanish. And then sometimes I have to reboot the cable stations again because the tv acts like it is brand new and doesn't have the channels on it that I have been using for 3 years. How would I know what chip to replace"? I would appreciate any help that you could give me on this complex problem, thanks for your time. Mike
These tv does have loose of audio problems im concern about looseing picture . Try unplugging tv for 5 minutes it will reset tv very common fix for audio. Tv that are less then a year old are sometimes covered under new warr call manufacture on that.
There is a microprocessor on these that lockup and when you unplug it. it resets it.
I have a tv shop and have helped customers get exchanges under a year especially if you complain
