Re: bosch aquasensor diswahing machine

To reset the board so as the times will go back to factory settings.
Turn appliance on press both buttons that have the two dots under, the display will then go back to zero. Shut the door and allow appliance to reset itself. This normally takes about a minute, whilst it's doing this the pump will be running.
Hope this helps

I have a bosch aquasensor dishwasher which was wotking fine until the mains water was turned off in the middle of operation. Now when you turn it on nothing happens. When you press the main switch on the door no led numbers cone up like before. When you then press any of the setting buttons 2 single red led lines appear if you hold the button down but no start of any operation?

I have a SHU5305us/u12 and my front door lettering got erase. anyone have a picture or a manual that tells me what each button means.

Cycle Interruption

As a safety feature the dishwasher will automatically turn itself off whenever the door is opened. However, if the door is opened quickly while in a wash or rinse cycle some water may splash out of the dishwasher. For this reason it is recommended that the machine always be switched off before opening the door.

To Interrupt a Cycle

1. Press the on/off button to stop operation.

2. Wait at least 10 seconds (or until the water noises stop) before opening the door.

To Resume a Cycle

1. SHU/SHI models, close the door and press the on/off button.

2. SHV models, push the on/off button and close the door.

Changing a Cycle

For Bosch dishwasher models SHI 6800 and 4320, SHU 5300, 5310 and 6800 press the program button of the desired cycle TWICE. For all other Bosch dishwasher models, press the program button of the desired cycle ONCE. The chosen cycle button (or the light above it) becomes illuminated, showing that it has been selected.

* SHU 3030 and SHU 3130 models do not have program lights.

Cancelling a Cycle

Each control panel shows which buttons to simultaneously push to cancel a cycle. Refer to your dishwasher to find the cancel drain buttons on your particular model.

1. Press the indicated buttons at the same time and hold for approximately 3 seconds.

2. When the drain pump noises stop and the LED display or clean light indicate that the end of the cycle has been reached, the dish

washer is reset.

3. Press the on/off button to turn the dishwasher off.

4. The dishwasher is now ready to run a selected cycle. Add more detergent if necessary.

Bosch Dishwasher continuous fill/drain

Have same problem with 2 second cycling. I resolder at the point of heater relay. Thought I had solved the problem of running forever on 1. Now have this "new" problem that you have described.

THe dishwasher will not start.

what cycles does your dishwasher offer? there is a cancel reset. its usually holding scrub and econo wash at the same time while the power is on will activate the cancel drain mode then reset the dishwasher next time you power it. if that doesnt help then let me know your full model number and i will tell you exactly which buttons to press.
your model should read:

Bosch Aquasensor Detergent Dispenser door wont open during cycle

Behind the dispensor door there is a small selanoid you will need to replace this, test to see if its open circuit, alternatively you can just place the detergent in side the machine before you put it on a wash cycle is this would have the same effect. the only cycle you can not do this on is the one with the prewash, I think its number 1.

Can't close Bosch Dishwasher door

I had same problem and was alarmed at the idea of taking the door apart, so I tried the 2 screwdriver option described below - it works!

Open door and get two small screwdirvers behind each side of the catch inside the top of the door and gently apply pressure. The catch should reset itself on 'open' and allow you to shut the door again.

Thanks to all for their postings and helpful advice!
