i left my 8500 in my window and it got pretty warm, when i turned it on it said something about calibration and i un plugged it to let it cool. after a couple hours i plugged it back up and turned it on and it seemed to be fine but i took it by a place that always gives me a strong x-band signal and nothing happened.what do i do?

It is possible that you damaged the unit by leaving it in the heat and sunlight. Does the detector work with other bands? K, Ka, etc? Is X band then only thing that is not working?
