Printing problem

when i try to print something the printer prints out a 3-4 lines of characters that don't make sense.

Wiz>go to printers & faxes
>right-click on the printer icon and select Properties
>click on the Print Test Page button
>windows test page will print - if issue still persists : uninstall driver from the XP Control Panel -> Add & Remove Programs -> EPSON Printer Software
>reboot computer
>re install printer driver
