My Wii remote won't turn on. Yes the batteries

My Wii remote won't turn on. Yes the batteries have been changed but still no sign of life. No water damage or dropping of the remotes... It won't even flash blue lights but the battery is definitely charged. Just to be sure,I even tried AA batteries. Still no life and I know the batteries are good because they worked in my other Wii remote.
