My kodak DX7630 has a problem. I think I know what is causing it but I need to know how to take it apart. Do you know how the dial for the different controls is removed ? What is happening is the camera continuously turns on and off. If I apply pressure on one side of the dial, it quits. I am guessing that there is dirt between the dial and the contact board.

I had the same problem and was able to find a replacement lock and spring on e-bay from US Camera - P/N 370388337496). They may have none left. Not sure.
I have no instructions on how to install the replacement, but don't think it should be that hard (haven't installed mine yet). It is called a Kodak DX7630 Battery Latch and Spring Assembly.
You can also contact United Camera Customer Service (1-630-595-2525) and talk with them. They are the company that Kodak will send you to for repairs to your DX7630.

first of all, this is not a solution. i think your camera's problem almost same with mine. i think your inner lens of your camera isn't totally opened, and it is same with my camera, which is cannot opened at all, maybe you dropped it or exposed it to water. if you go to kodak web site they suggest that you must take it back to the factory.
