Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 Digital Camera
I've had my Sony Cybershot DSC-P200 for two years now. About a week ago, it lost its ability to power off. The lens retracts into the camera and it turns off for a second, then it turns immediately back on and the lens comes out again. I suspect something spilled in it. I took the covers off the camera and cleaned the components with a little rubbing alcohol, but it still does the same thing. Any suggestions?
This seems to be a common issue with this camera as several have been on ebay for sale with this exact issue.
evidently the circuit scr that controls the power off is bad and requires a complete dissembly to repair.
