Not quite sure what you mean, did you break a wire harness loom that keeps all the wires bundled together or did you break an actual plug connector?
If you broke a loom clip them use black electrical tape to wrap the wires back together. If you broke a plug, go to the dealer and buy the new plug or harness. the new plug will have mew wires already attached and all you'll have to do is match color, cut, splice, solder, heat shrink and plug back in.
If you have another problem for some reason or another that I haven't hit on then I'd suggest going to your local parts stor or dealership and buy the repair manual for your car, turn to the electricl schematic section and follow your color codes from there..
Good Luck
If you are unsure on how to splice the cord back together it may be best to just purchase a new cord. You can find a new G6 cord and it is easily installed into the switch at the base of the Kirby. Kirby G6 Power Cord
These get banged up, you will need to find the short circuit in the wire by starting to take them apart. Usually the wire is damaged where it enters the housing. You can use and xacto knife to do some surgery. Prices keep dropping for ok quality headsets but if you need to spend more than $20 US you might try to find the broken wire and splice it back together. Good Luck :)
First thing you will want to do is check the warranty for your lockset. If they will cover the lock under some part of the warranty then do that, if not. You could try getting a butt splice gauged for the wire and try splicing it together like that but there is no guarantee that it will work. Most electronic locksets have very sensitive wiring in them and even the smallest pinch on the wire can ruin the lockset. Try cutting out the parts that were broken off and splicing them together.
It depends on where the wire broke at. If it is right at the motor it may be tough if not impossible to do a splice but if you have a little slack to work with, you can simply peel back a little of the blue insulation then twist the ends together.
you would have to splice them back together or solder them if you cant do ether buy a new one also you can use a cheap cell phone mic they are only like $3 at the verizon store i live by
Yes there are ways to splice cables together, This depends on the extent you would like to go to. if splice needs replaced near end replacement end can be bought at radio shack. You can splice wires together by striping the wires back and reconnecting them together making sure all wires are connected together and not touching one another, Twist red to red white to white and ground to ground, wrap with electrical tape each by them self use heat shrink to make it look a lot better.
you can splice the wires back together. you can get an insulation sleeve in the automotive audio section at walmart that you heat after putting in place. you need to make sure the wires are fully insulated after the splice or you will have distortion to you music at higher volumes.
If you know which wires they are, ask an electrician to "but-splice" the wires back together.
Or if you think yourself wise enough to handle the situation, go buy, wire-strippers, **** splices and a crimper for those wire splices.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT SPLICES FOR THE GAUGE WIRE.
Strip the ends of either wire(you only need to strip about a1/4 inch), twist them CLOCKWISE, place them in the **** splice, and crimp the ends, and PRESTO! wire has continuity.
Make sure you splice the right wires together, or you will have blown fuses, and things not operating correctly.
