Samsung BD-P1200 Can you HelpThanks
Hi,
I can see your struggling with this A little Bit.
On reading a review of this product, it seems without a remote. it,s about as much use as a chocolate kettle.
after a bit of searching around, i found this page of potential remote control suppliers.
You can show me your appreciation, By Rating the Post.
Hope This Helps All in Frustration And Confusion.

Mike @ Compurepair.
The AV1 and AV2 switch position can be used to program a
VCR, DVD, STEREO, 2nd DIRECTV Receiver or 2nd TV with
the following instructions.
1. Turn on the component (e.g. DVD Player) you wish to
program.
3. Move the slide switch under the AV1 (or AV2) icon.
4. Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys at the same
time until the green light under AV1 (or AV2) flashes
twice and then release both keys.
5. Using the number keys enter the 5-digit code for your
brand of component being programmed. If performed
correctly the green light under TV will flash twice.
6. Aim the remote at your component and press the power
key once. The component should turn off. If it does not
turn off, repeat steps 3 and 4 trying each code for your
brand until you find the correct code.
7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 to program a new component
under AV2 (or AV1).

Also for the BD-P1400, which may be the same code. New Sony TV manual only shows the remote codes for their own BD player.
I have the exact problem for the Samsung BD-P1000. Bought an open box special for $149 but none of my universal remotes (2 Samsung, 1 Onkyo) will pair with the BluRay player. Called Support and was given this info... "Try 001, 002, 003 ...all the way up to 171" If your universal remote needs 2 or 4 digits, then add or delete leading zeros. Tried everything with all # combinations and each remote. No success. Taking the BD-P1000 back this weekend unless someone can post a solution.

PS. I previously had a Samsung DVD-HD960 and was never able to find a universal remote that would synch up with it either.
