Question about Asko W6661 Front Load Washer
The machine won't wash - comes up with "Washer motor fault
Can we fix it or does it need a repair person. It the person recommends a new motor - would it be new or reconditioned?
It Can be brushes or motor ir the wear is uneven if the machine has a lwr board next to the motor ( chopper board) it could also need replacing with the motor

I'm pretty sure that the problem is the coalbrushes in the motor. The coalbrushes makes connection between the communtator and the stator in the motor. Pretty easy job for a technician. Not very expencive either.

If a repair person does it supposed to be new motor and be sure to get a factory authorized tech some parts a warranted for longer than the first year but you have to use an authorized tech if it says parts only then you must pay labor as to can you do it yourself pull the bottom or back panel and see haven't worked on one of thees so cant be specific but i like to help see if they have a web site then go to support to find tech in your area hope this helps
