Re: Belkin Router Connection Issue

Well.. if you have a laptop, or a pc, you better have in those a wifi modem built in your computer.. most of the laptops now have those things already integrated, and PCs.. well, youll have to buy a PCI card to suit you better... if you dont, youll need to buy a wifi modem...

then, if you used to have your internet connection through wire to your computer, youll have to unplug that and plug it into your belkin router...

then, if you have the wifi modem in your computer, there will be an icon in the task bar (where the clock is) where you can see all wireless conections..
find yours and you are done..
if you need more help, dont hesitate to ask.. ill be alert..
happy new year..

Belkin n1 vision is shutting down

Is the Belkin plugged into a power strip or UPS? Try another AC outlet. Has the AC jack, plug in the rear or the Belkin been damaged due to pulling on the AC cord, causing a lose connection? Is your computer shut down at night? No Hibernate, No Sleep? Are their setting for the Belkin to shut down/timeout after a certain idle time? Here's a user manual:

Belkin Wireless Router F5D8233-4 shotty connection missing wireless

The problem may be that your router needs a firmware update. I work with routers everyday and have found that even out of the box they do not have the lastest firmware. Ditto for linksys.

You may have to copy and paste the link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Internet Connection drop outs on Belkin ADLS2+ modem router

Try to call your internet service provider. They should most likely resolve your problem. Or, disconnect everything. Plug the cable wire to the back of your modem. Give it 30 seconds. Plug in the ethernet cord from your router to your modem. Plug in the power adapter to your modem and give it 1-2 minutes to start up. Next, Plug the power to your router. Give about 1 minute. Go onto your computer and hit the start menu, go to the control panel. Look for internet connection and click on it. Find you internet connection, right click, and hit properties. Click on TCP/IP. Make sure your settings are on automatic. Then try your internet.
