How do I use my popcorn maker model pm8501

Really.... If you can't figure that out
You shouldn't be near the machine...

Pour some oil in a pan... Just enough to cover the bottom
Or use butter
Sprinkle corn in botom 2 layers deep.
Place over heat and shuffle
As soon as first corn pops .. Place lid over pan!
Remove pan from heat when popping slows down!
Serve with butter & salt

If it is the type of switch I am think it is, it has a couple of catches for snapping it in to its fitting. You should be able to get a replacement from an electrical supply store like Viking Electric or Grainger.

Www helmangroup com This is the current reseller of Nostalgiac electrics.

Unfortunately, they will not help you in any way. Your only action is to throw it away, parts are not available anywhere.

I purchased a model ccp-509 from a friend and found that it does not have a removable collection tray . How do I go about purchasing one.

Nostalgia does not sell any parts, anywhere. Your best bet is to find a used broken popper, and buy it for the parts.

We spilled melted butter into the base that holds the kernals. Now we get black smoke when we plug it in. I tried running it on empty for awhile, but the smoke continues. Can we remove the top and clean...

you can open it but not from the top. unscrew the bottom and take out the heater and clean out the Popper without using any water or soap just a toothbrush and cloth. it will take more then one clean out to get it to stop smoking (took me 3 times). put it back together place a plate under it to catch butter and run it for 10 min. to get hidden butter to melt and seep out of hidden spaces then repeat cleaning.

We had purchased this machine New a bout 3 years ago, Had used it a bit but now it will not pop at all, the pot does seem not to heat up, Please advise as to what we can do? The model # is 207196. My e...

Most likely the problem is one of the following:
1. Your Heating Element went bad and needs replacing.
2. The On/Off Switch for the Kettle has gone bad.
3. A wire has come loose.

Since you are already out of the warranty period, if you have an electrician in the house, they could unplug the popper, remove the top dome and inspect the switch, look for loose wires, etc.
