I have a duet washer, it does not seem to be spinning like it should. I have not had it serviced since I got it four years ago. The dryer was just moved from its original spot in the laundry room, has flex duct that goes about 30 feet under the house, not the best way, but the only way I could see to vent it. The dryer is now taking a long time to dry and does not seem to be getting very hot. Should I call in the service person to look at both of them or what?
Thanks, devkirn

OK, I fixed the dryer myself. Just like a vaccum cleaner a dryer does not work well when the duct work is clogged up. I went under the house and cleaned it out. Then I could feel the heat coming thru the vent and sure enuf it dyed like crazy. I still am not sure about the washer, but I have an idea that it needs to be tuned up...if anyone has ideas about it. Thanks,
open the bottom access panel , 3 screws on bottom front, open the filter trap and clean, it will dump some excess water, you didn't explain the spinning issue well , not spinning fast , noisy, no drainage etc....
