I have a Canon i350 color printer that is 6 years old. When the power is on the power lamp flashes a long green, then alternates between orange and green for a total of 7 orange flashes, then flashes a long green; then repeats the sequence.
Sounds like the printer head is clogged or damaged.
I believe that sequence stands for (error sending data to print head). Not sure if it can be repaired or not, its hit or miss with the canon printers.
The ip series, the heads were removable and the whole section could be replaced. Give canon a call and see if thats possible with the i350 series. Worse case you will have to replace the whole printer.

i get no colour print from the PSC 1610 printer. Bought a new genuine colour cartridge and it worked for a few days and then just prints in black and white. Cartridge is still full has plenty of ink but not putting it on paper. No message to check or realign when the cartridge is put in. tried printing from both pc and printer with the same result
