I have a regular modem through Time Warner Cable. I just purchased a laptop computer and want to add wireless to my laptop only. I have followed the directions on the installation and it is not working. I get an error code of 115. I have sat on hold for assistance now for 25 minutes, please help.
i just bought the same one about a week ago and so far ive seen spelling mistakes in the web management page, the cts disable has been greyed out so it only allows always & auto, its defrag rts thresholds cant go above the limit so that cant be disabled. im using cable aswell but my phone has a seperate modem for (voc)voice over cable. also was the firmware pre-upgraded at the factory?

Hi JeremyM49,
I purchased the DLink Rangebooster I needed for my laptop.
My current internet connection goes through a router from Time Warner, I also have phone service through the cable which goes through an Arris box. (I wonder if this is the problem). My computer gets plugged into the Arris box and then into the Router box which works my computer and my sons (I didn't have good luck when my son's was connected to wireless so I went back to the box). Can I keep my regular connection and add the wireless just for my laptop?
Thanks for your help.

hi greci6,
Does your laptop have wireless access?
You may have to buy a wireless chip for your laptop, Give me a little more information on your error you get.
Also tell me how your router is setup, and cord placement.
