Question about HP Compaq NC6400 Business Notebook
The power supply to my HP NC6400 laptop died.
On examination, i found a short in the output cable.
I repaired it, but still dead.
The i noticed 2 SMD resistors, coupled in parallel, in the line of
the output, probably acting like a shunt to measure output current.
These 2 resistors (R30A and R30Bwere burned, no way to see the original value.
Could someone help me to identify the value of these resistors?

The best way is to get one off ebay by part number. Take it apart and write them down. Then order the resistors and you will have 2. Then you can either sell the other one back or keep it. You cant lose if you have electronics skills.
