Broken vacuum

jammed the rotating brush on a kenmore powermate vacuum cant get it to run properly after clearing the jam
I have the same problem

I cannot seem to find the two screws loacted at the bottom of the power head. I unlatched it from the sides and the cover is still securely attached.

Question; you can't run it properly meaning? The agitator (brush) isn't spinning? If that's the case, then Kazong is right, check the belt. If the belt is fine, check to make sure you didn't damage the bearing of the agitator.

How to get to the agitator/belt:

Remove the 2 screws that are holding the cover into place. Usually found on the bottom of the power head; in some cases, they are found on the top of the cover. Detach the cover from the back and the sides.
