Nintendo DS fault

Nintendo DS: The unit doesn't recognise a DS cartridge. Works fine with GBA games, but says 'no DS card inserted'.
Have been quoted 55 pounds to repair which I don't think would be worthwhile.

Unit is quite old. Have tried cleaning out before.

Take it back to the retailer and explain the problem to the clerk. They might give you a sollution or they will most likely let you exchange it free for a new one as long as it still has a warranty. Also try to clean it out with a air presure duster or what ever you can think of.
