My player was working fine until I inadvertantly unplugged during a Windows Media Player upgrade. Not it will not recognize it is connected. Every time I plug it in, I get a box telling me new hardware has been found.

How do i transfer all my music video's from my music file to my opal rca mp3 player when i plug in my mp3 player.

This unit supports windows xp and vista Just have windows media player locate all your audio and WMA compatable videos. Then use the sync feature at the top of your windows media player to create a sync list on the right hand side by dragging your stuff over to that area .Use start/sync button in the lower right corner this should get you loading your player!!

iPods connect to your computer via iTunes.
You can download iTunes here free:
All the music files currently in your Windows Media Player can all be transferred into iTunes, so no worries about losing your music.

Hope that helps.

Mp3 player won't sync with media player on vista

Do you have Windows Media Player 11? When you plug your device in and hit sync you should be prompted automatically, to name your device.

Also try:
Plug in the device, press the POWER BUTTON go to MY COMPUTER and double ckick on the Setup.exe icon.
This will install the MP3 Player's software onto the connected computer. At least that's what the manual says.

My Phillips Go Gear 8GB MP3 player wont sync music

Windows Media Player 11 ruins this player. Uninstall Windows Media Player 11, and roll back to Windows Media Player 10. Then use version 10 to sync songs to your device.

If you plug in the mp3 player then goto device manger via the control panel (hardware and sound) it will show up there as an uninstalled item. Righ click on it and select update driver and hopefully vista will search and find the apropiate driver for it.

Alternatively try the manufactures website for vista drivers.

Unfortunately not all hardware products are vista compatable yet :(

I can't get it reconized

You need windows media player 11 download it for free and then once it is downloaded. open it and go to sync and then on the right hand side drag your music in the square, make sure the mp3 player is plugged in then at the bottom of that square where you are putting the music it says start sync then it will put the music on.
