Always when printing out from my email it takes very long until it starts to print ,any tip ??

    in this windows vista home basic ,i see no run at start manue

    Also go to start ->run type "cmd" in run then press enter
    Then type in command prompt "net start spooler"
    then press enter.
    but see no "run" at my start manue

    then got massage .system error 5 has occurred ,access is denied

    i have to withdraw problem for the time bieng ,since the owner want to be here when doing further your advise .

    for now i got a worse problem my printer is connected fine computer restarted port is fine print offline is unchecked ,still it showes printer offline ,in pending box and in control panel ,how can i change it to online

Hello. In the "Start Search" box, enter "cmd", press Enter, then enter "Net Start". If that doesn't work, roll back your system to an earlier time when everything worked OK via System Restore. Select: Control Panel- System - Advanced System Settings - System Protection - System Restore. Note that your documents, etc. will roll back to that date as well. Hope this helps.

Open control panel.
Start->controlpanel ->printer and faxes.

Right click on printer then click on property.
Click on advanced
Then enable start print immediately.
Also go to start ->run type "cmd" in run then press enter
Then type in command prompt "net start spooler"
then press enter.
Then check.
If still same issue then change usb cable and also uninstall old driver then reinstall driver.

Hello, first unplug the the printer and take out the cartridges, first dab them on a wet paper towel until the ink start flowing, then take a q-tip dipped in alcohol and where u insert the cartridges, clean the print heads, replace the cartridges and power up. If that doesn't help it you have bad cartridges.

Printer will not print e-mails
Hi,

Once you give print command of an email, your email program should ask you to select printer.

If you are using MS Office, by default One Note printer might be selected.

Please check which printer is assigned when you click print.

HPC4480 printing emails in font size 3 or 4 prints letters etc without any problems
Usually emails are compressed in such a way that they take very little space therefore their font sizes are always small. Due to this before printing you are supposed to increase the font size before printing is done otherwise the prints are bound to come out small like font size 3 or 4. The best way to do this is to increase the size of the display before printing is done. you can increase the display size by using the ctrl and + keys. Press down the ctrl and press the + accordingly and the display will become bolderdo this to the document print preview before printing.

Can't print an email
  1. Open up Yahoo your Email, (either Classic or new version) click on your Inbox to view messages.
  2. Double click (or click on the subject line to open if using Yahoo email classic) the message that contains the desired message or photo you wish to print.
  3. Locate and click the "printer icon" (the picture looks like a printer) on the top of Yahoo email or go to the File menu at the top of your web browser and click "print."

    If you are using Yahoo email classic, they have a selection (once you are inside of an email message) on the top--to the right of the screen that allows you to click "printable view."

    A new window will open up and your entire email will appear. Click "print," which is underlined, at the top right of the screen.
  4. A dialog box will pop up and ask you to confirm, click the "OK" button on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Your entire yahoo email message should print out fully (not just the header). This is good for articles, messages and photos you wish to keep.
  6. Bear in mind that one page on the screen is not equivalent to one printed page, in fact, it may be quite a few more pages.

    If you only wish to print one page: select file, print and click on the second radio button in front of "pages 1 of 1."

    Or, specify 2 or 3, for example. If you know it will run into more pages.
    Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the box to start printing.
    You can always reprint if it doesn't print correctly.
  7. These steps will work for either Yahoo email classic or the newer version of Yahoo mail.

Paper doesn't always feed, and when it does, the paper rolls through without printing
Get a Q-Tip and alcohol. Wet Q-tip with alcohol. Stand in front of the printer and look down where the paper feeds through. On the righthand side you will see a big roller that pulls the paper through and a little one right up under that. Clean both of them with the alcohol and Q-tip. Press the paper feed button and as it trys to act like it is feeding the paper, clean the roller with the Q-tip. Do this until the paper feeds through correctly.

MP 780 DOESN'T PRINT
Try printing something in a colored font, like red or green and see what happens. This printer uses two black ink cartridges. It uses the larger one for black text printing. If it is dry, blocked, or damaged, your text (usually black) will not print. Changing to a color font will rule that out.

When printing documents from my PC documents always sent to queue
Go to control panel, printers. Set your defaults there. You probably have spooling enabled. Uncheck it and your print job will go to the printer, rather than to spooling. Spooling is like rolling the print job up on a spool until the whole thing is processed, then unwinding it to the printer.

My pictures come out too small when downloaded!!
Instead of going to print size, you need to head to the quality tab of your camera. Here you will find the option for 640 x 480. This size is only good though for email quality. If you want a higher quality for printing images, you need to move that resolution up.

TIP: I myself have a casio camera and i take all my pictures at the highest availible quality. You can always reduce the file size on your computer, but you can never add quality. While it may take more space on my card, it is like the old saying about dressing warmly... you can always peel layers off....
