Emerson EWD7002 DVD Player

New dvd movie will not play

a new copy of "rush hour 3" will only show loading and wont play. all my other dvds will play, no problem. ran a cleaner disc several times, no change. i have returned two previous copies and #3 is the same way.
any ideas?
