Problem for Dell Dimension 8100 PC Desktop
Dell 8100 windows media player says have no audio device

I have a dell 8100 and windows media player says i do not have a sound card or it is being used by another program. Device manager shows no conflicts or issues and driver is current. The pc plays system sounds with out issue and if I open nero wave editor I can play the full music file without and problems. Any ideas where i look next....
