Paper jam at the rear of my Brother 5910DW printer The paper doesn't go through the roller at the back.

Don't fill the paper all the way to the top. Just load half the tray and try it. Also make sure the top tray for faxing is clear of any paper.

Why won't paper load into a sony dpp-fp90 digital printer

I would turn the printer upside down and shake it . I have a feeling a little piece of something got in the top of it. I have had that happen to my fax machine . Good luck , Hope this helps . You can also look at and put in repair or paper jam ( then your printer name and model ) . See what comes up ? Sometimes it does not have to be your exact print , maybe HP , but will solve your problem if you look at that one .

HP 6110 Officejet all-in-one will not print from the glass top. It will make prints coming from the computer after I press "enter" from message "paper jam". I also can fax. Please help.

You will need to open the top and look inside where the paper travels through and attempt to free any paper pieces that have gotten stuck in the pathway. You probably have a bad board in your control panel, since you are able to print from the computer.

Paper jams when I put it in the tray to fax (from the top tray)

your wheel on one side is impacted with small pieces of paper
this causes the paper flow to go unevenly you need to clean you wheels on both sides oil them and wipe dry with a paper towel
then do the paper feed jam clear and let a few pieces go thru to pick up any remiaining debris

I had a similar problem, my printer was chewing the paper and then I was getting a jammed paper message. I looked inside but couldn't see much anything. I then removed (unscrewed) all the panels, and next I know, a culprit materialized, in other words, something fell inside the printer. I then managed to put it all back together, ended up with a few extra screws, but heck it works like a clockwork. God bless screwdrivers with magnetic tips, they made my life so easier.

HP Officejet 6310 All in One - small paper being faxed is jammed. How do I unjam the paper?

Lift the scanner lid, then lift the black part of the fax - pull up hard for it to lift. Unjam the paper either still on top or gently lift the inner section and retrieve your jammed paper. Then put everything back together and you're right to go again.

Look for any traces of tiny paper shreds that might got stuck between the rollers. That might be causing the paper jam error. If you could open the back cover, check from there also as those paper shreds might also blocking the sensor.

"unable to clean"

Hi dbostrander.
First check for foreign objects in the paper path. Check if you have any faxes in memory because you will lose them when removing power; see later.
Pull out the paper tray from the front and check for paper jams or torn paper anywhere inside the machine. Also check the 'jam clear screen' at the back of the printer. Remove the cover, remove any obstacle then replace ther cover. From the front of the machine lift the top cover from the right side till it is fully open on the slide. Check for jams. If the jam is under the print head you will have to disconnect the power (losing any faxes in memory *see below) to move the print head out of the way to clear the jam.Lift the scanner cover to release the lock. Gently push the scanner cover support down and close the scanner cover.
Check whether the MFC has faxes in
1.Press Menu/Set, 9, 0, 1.
2. If the MFC has no faxes, disconnect the MFC
from the power source for several minutes
and then reconnect it then do as above.

If faxes are present, you can transfer them to
another fax machine
If you have not set up your Station ID, you
cannot enter fax transfer mode.
3.Enter the fax number to which faxes will be
4.Press Mono Start.
5.After the faxes are transferred, disconnect
the MFC from the power source for several
minutes and then reconnect it.
You can transfer the Fax Journal report to
another fax machine by pressing Menu/Set, 9,0, 2 in step 1.

Hope this helps,
