How to lock or unlock a Samsung Intensity

Many people like the Samsung Intensity because of its slide-out QWERTY keyboard. However, one drawback to the phone for some users is that, unlike a flip phone, the numeric keypad is always exposed. When the Intensity is kept in a pocket or purse, this can result in accidental phone calls, multiple all-black pictures, and sudden activation of the voice command feature.

Luckily, you can lock the phone's keypad to keep it from engaging any functions when you're not using it. Locking the keypad is easy. Just hold down the 0 (zero) button for about two seconds, and a message will pop up telling you that the keypad has been locked. While it's locked, you won't be able to use the numeric keypad.

The standard way to unlock the phone is to press the upper right options button (the one that you would typically press to bring up your Contacts list) and then press the center OK button. (You will see prompts for both of these buttons when the phone is locked.)

However, there is also a quicker way to unlock the phone -- just slide the keyboard open. Sliding the keyboard open will unlock your numeric keypad immediately, and even when you close the keyboard the phone will remain unlocked. If you want to lock it again, you'll have to hold down the zero button to re-lock it.

You can also enable Auto Key Lock mode, in case you think you'll forget to lock your phone. With Auto Key Lock mode turned on, your phone will automatically lock itself when it's not in use and the backlight goes off. You can turn Auto Key Lock mode on or off from the Phone Settings menu.

1. If you have changed your phone password, change your password back to the default 8 zeros (00000000). Goto SETTINGS, SECURITY, then SIM LOCK and disable this before proceeding. 2. Put a SIM card that is from a network other than the one your phone is locked to 3. When Incorrect SIM error comes up, type *#9998*3323#. 4. White screen will appear with an exit option. Press the right softkey. (just keep pushing the down key to get a menu) 5. From the menu that appears, select the Malloc Fail option. This will reboot the phone and the normal service screens will appear. 6. Type *0141# and then press the green call key. "Personalization" or "Personalized" will appear. 7. Turn off your phone and put the original SIM back in. 8. Turn on your phone. You will receive a prompt to enter a password. 9. Type 8 zeros (00000000) (This is because the SIM LOCK Mentioned earlier gets switched back on) 10. Completed. You have now unlocked your phone.

Network Unlock Code Nokia slide 6500

Only the original service provider can provide a code to unlock 6500 series and some calculators can not do codes for these.

Be careful.
I understand that you only have three chances. If you
hard lock the phone by entering wrong codes, not even
the original Provider can unlock it by code.

These models cannot be unlocked as yet by this method.

Anyway try the step below:
remove sim first use your # & * key type #pw+486367301405173+7# then it sould say restriction removed then put in sim of your choice if it does not say this then let me know as there are 3 or 4 more codes but you use this at your own risk & you only have 5 goes then it would have to be opened by a cable cheers,

Before trying anything else, contact your service provider and ask for an unlock code.

Usually, if you've been a customer of theirs for some time, they will provide you with an unlock code for free. This is, by far, the best way to get your phone unlocked.

Download software to generate the unlocking code. Software is available on some websites for free and some pay websites that also offer support if things go wrong.

See external links below.

Find the Serial number of the cell phone, also known as your IMEI number.

Using the software you have downloaded, enter in your Manufacturer (which is in this case Nokia), your model number, and your IMEI number.

Also enter your country and the Network. Calculate the code, this may be different depending on which software you are using. If your phone is the Nokia 6300phone, select the model 6300, they are the same phone.

Remove the SIM card from your Nokia phone.

This is typically done by removing the back cover of the phone and removing the battery and sliding the card out. Put the battery back in and power the phone on.

You will see a message "Insert SIM Card".

Enter all of the characters you see in your code, including the # symbols.

To get a 'p' press * 3 times, to get a '+' press the * key 2 times, to get a 'w' press the * key 4 times.

Disregard any spaces in the code.

In order to unlock your phone you generally need to enter only one code.

Start with the first one. If your phone is not unlocked by typing the first code (MCC+MNC), use code "7" (Multilock)

Once you have finished entering a code that works you should see a message that says "SIM is not restricted" or "Restriction off" message depending on your model.

If not, try entering another code. Message "Cannot undo restrictions" means the phone is "hard-locked" and cannot be unlocked by code.

Unlocking only applies to GSM phones, phones using other cellular technologies, cannot be unlocked without special software and hardware.

Switch off the phone. Hold the keys "3", "*" and "Call" and switch the phone on. Keep the buttons held down till you see the word "Formatting..." on the screen. Make sure that the battery is full charged before you attempt this. This should reset the phone lock code.

Attempting to unlock your phone is done at your own risk.

Although unlocking your phone is legal, some cell phone operators might choose to void your warranty should you unlock your phone (then again, some cell phone operators won't mind).

Most phones only allow you to try a certain number of unlock tries, Nokia phones have a limit of 5 tries.

After that, the phone becomes "hard-locked", meaning it cannot be unlocked without using special equipment.

Most of the newer phones will not work with the codes generated by the free unlock programs.

You can get a free unlock code generator software free from here :
