Inspiron 6000 shuts down itself making loud noise

After an accident with water it was dead for a month then slowly started to work. Now it can work for up to 30 min, then in a sec shuts down making loud noise which is coming from the fan area. One day it worked perfect after I opened it up and cleaned it. Then next day back to "normal". Vista windows are installed.
