seems like either the Graphics card drivers are not installed or then you just have a small resolution in use. I suppose you know where you can adjust the resolution? But in any case its, right click on desktop and select properties / OR personalize / OR screen resolution, depending on which version of windows is in use. Then either slide the resolution to a higher setting or select one from the list.
If you can't adjust the resolution higher answer the following questions.
do you get a error message?
what is the brand and model of the machine?
what windows is installed?
do you know if all the drivers for the machine are installed?
Select the "Start" menu in the lower left corner of your computer monitor screen. Select "Control Panel", then double-click on "Display".
Click on the upper "Settings" tab, then move the slider bar to the right, to at least 1024 x 768 pixel. Then hit Apply or OK. This will increase the screen resolution of your computer monitor so that it will be compatible with the Canon software.
Once the drivers are installed, your issues should be resolved - the driver will allow only the modes that can be displayed on the monitor - probably giving you options for resolutions you hadn't seen before.
Get an updated version of the software from RCA's website. Windows XP Pro and Mp3 players in general don't mix well - on a networked business system, Mp3 players are seen almost like hostile, foreign antibodies.
Change your compuetr's display resolution to a better performance.
Click with the right mouse button on your computer screen.
- The Display properties window will open
- Click with the left button on the Setting tab.
- Change screen resultion as required
- Press "apply"
Check whether the new setting solve your problem.
You need to change down the res. to a minor mode. i.e. 800x600 low quality. For Windows enter the protected mode - i.e. after POST (bootup) press F8 then enter with your account, or the administrator. Right-click anywhere on the empty desktop and enter "Properties" menu. Turn the screen resolution down in there (i.e. 800x600); also, check whether your current monitor is recognized by model in there. Re-adjust to a suitable working resolution. If all fails, you can also de-install the video card driver in admin protected mode to go back to basics. Of course You need to re-install it again afterwards when in your original Windows.
