If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, or the heating element circuit has failed, the F05 error code will be displayed. Might need to be taken to a repairman

Code F05 Description: Water temperature sensor error. If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, the "F05" error code will be displayed.
Possible Causes / Procedure: 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check the water temperature sensor. Check connections to the water temperature sensor. 3. Check resistance of heating element, if present on this model. (abnormal = infinity).
Replace failed component.
Hope this helps (remember to rate and lave a testimonila about this free answer).
the f5 error code is to do with the water inlet valve not working it will need replacing in the mean time try connecting the cold water to the hot select hot wash and see if the water flows into the machine
Water Temperature Sensor Error - Check the Water Temperature Sensor,Heating Element and Element Relay. If during the water heating step in wash cycle, the water temperature sensor(NTC) value is out of range,or the heating element circuit has failed, the F05 error code will be displayed - Check connections to the Sensor,Heating Element and Relay.
This occurs if there is a problem detected during the heating step of the wash cycle.
You will need to check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and the Heating Element Relay.
But as you says that your washer is only 4 months old so why don't you ask for warranty...... Please post comments if you need more help or information........
f05 is normally a fault cause by the pressure switch - often caused by a blockage in the exit hose of the washer. if the water cannot leave the washer in time the f05 will come up because the pressure switch has not told the machine it empty. on hotpoints there is a filter inside the exit pipe from the drum to the pump which gets blocked up. need to remove and clear out the sump assembly and this normally fixes the f05 error. if this does not cure the issue then the pressure switch is probably faulty but its notmally just a blocked pipe.
F05 is a water temp sensor error ,could be a bad heating element, or the temp sensor may be faulty, try checking the connection's to the temp sensor and heating element, also check the element relay.
