I have a laptop acer 6530G with vista home edition.
I got the bios locked and I was requested to insert the bios password at the boot (don't ask me why, I don't know) and fixed it by disconnecting the battery on the mother board, thus resetting the bios memory. Now at the boot I am not asked any more to insert the bios pwd (I can navigate in the bios by pressing F2..) but I am asked to insert the HDD password and I don't know it again.
Is there any default password I can try or do I need to format the HD? How can I do in this case?
Many thanks in advance to whoever can help!!!

So, I have an Acer Aspire 6530. I have the same problem with the Acer Crystal Eye webcam as you do and I really tried everything, from downgrading it to XP to downloading every single driver out there - I got the latest one and it says like "camera is busy". After I restarted my laptop, it keeps saying it. Tried to go on msn and start a video conversation,it do shows me the camera is there but when I start it, it ain't working. Could somebody please help me out, it's happening since I downgraded it to XP :( Could Windows 7 be a possible solution?
