Without knowing the model or brand of the unit. It sounds like the Inverter "master" and "slave" boards have failed. Most likely dry joints on the transformers or failed electrolytic capacitors. Replace: 2x 680uF 35V or 2x 360uF 35V (Depends on model of LCD). Hope this helps.

Your monitor should have a reset, which fixes those problems. Other wise look in your graphic settings in your Windows 7 and see if your set for your size monitor.

the bottom half of the remote slides down ... that will reveil lots of lesser used controls including zoom .. you can also get to zoom via the menu system .. but its easier to just slide open the bottom cover on the remote and push zoom ..
