Hello We appear to have lost a part of the ds the part that goes into Slot 2? Please can you advise if this part is available and how much. Thanks

i am not sure 2 years ago i had game in slot one and 2 and it turned on fine the ds lite was at least 5 years old
i lost my old one in a movie theater in Hawaii :(

Take out your card and clean it. Is it responding when you are using it on your pc trough USB? If not card is damaged, but most likely the socket for cards on Nintendo died, because those R4 cards are really proven as not damageable.

they should work automatically when plugged in, take any card out of slot 1 which is the master slot and restart the ds with the gba game installed

from the tom screen there should only be 2 wires 1 black and 1 white. The white wire is the mic that plugs straight onto the board, and the black wire which plugs onto the wirless insert which attaches onto the board. the other 2 wires could be loose speaker wires if there is another black and a red wire, other than that could you explain a bit further what the wires actually look like.

my sons action replay por the dsi worked for 2 weeks and then stopped. it doesnt even appear on the touch screen when you have it in the slot. tried resetting it following the instruction manual and add the codes again but it says there is not enough free space to load the codes. any ideas what else to do

you can try blowing in the ds slot 2 get dust out.... or download new firmware 2 A.R. be sure u want 2 do this bcause this may erase ur codes-- DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU

well if thats the problematic case,

if it says no game inserted and theres a game in the slot,
this reallt worked
1 turn the ds off
2 take out the ds game
3 turn on the ds(remeber the game is out of the slot)
4 turn off the ds
5 carefully blow on the ds game all around
6 then blow in the slot were the ds game goes.
7 now put the ds game back into the slot.
8 now finaly trun on the ds and it should say theres a game in the slot

Its because the ds only lets .gba games work in the gba solt and .nds in slot 1. I suggest you get a slot 1 flashcart.

Oh no! You have to immediately take it to a authorized service center and have them fix it. They have special tools. Please DON'T use a screwdriver!

she has to put the cartrigde for ds in the bottom slot the gameboy games go in the top slot
