GE ZV850SBSS Kitchen Hood Problem: lights not...

Hi,
was in the process of changing lightbulbs. one inparticular was not working even with new bulbs. tried to turn on the unit a few days later and one of the lights went on as well as the fan. No noise nothing both dead. I checked the cuircuit breaker and that is not it . any suggestions? The unit is about 7 years old.
