On an Audi with the simple alarm system (no motion sensor and no disarm button on door centerpost) the fuse cannot be pulled without also disabling the power door locks. You may also have problems with your license plate, back up or fog lights. I tracked my car alarm and light problem to the wiring to the trunk lid on the driver side. The wiring is enclosed in a sleeve and attached to the two parts of the hinge with a free section in the middle to bend as the trunk opens and closes. Inside this bending section I found the separate wires either broken completely or the insulation cracked, creating intermittent shorts and activating the alarm. I reconnected and taped the insulation and the problem was solved.

Have the sensitivity lowered. If it's too sensitive, a slight breeze can trigger the motion part and a barking dog or loud muffler can trigger it too.

My alarm keeps going off on audi a4 the dashboard is showing that the boot lid is open but it mis closed how do i stop the alarm going off?

Have the lock checked on the boot. It might have got out of alignment and is not making a good circuit back to the alarm. Might be a loose wire.
