No red color in monitor that is a hp

I dont have nay red color i only have blue and black and white opitions

Just sharing this, hope it helps.

Are you missing also green color? If red color only, since it is a CRT type, right? Common fault could be video card. Reseat or retighten the connector plug. Some could be settings.

If not could be cable problem or cold solder. Other than that is the circuitry inside is at fault, it could be the transistor controlling the red gun is at fault or some other component.

I suggest to test the monitor unto another computer to isolate first if the monitor is at fault or the CPU unit. If monitor, you may consider buying a new monitor if repairing is more costly than having a new one.

Power and unplug the monitor and tower. Reseat the monitor plug in to the tower and tighten down.Plug in power cords for both tower and monitor.Reboot computer! If this does not work possible video card failure. [email protected] (good question)

Dont have a diagram but if you wanna know the colours they are

Red - Accessory Power
Yellow - Battery+
Black - Ground/Chassis
Orange/White - Illumination
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Amp remote wire
Brown - Celluar phone mute lead

Speakers:

Front Right - +Grey -Grey/Black
Frount Left - +White -White/Black
Rear Right - +Purple -Purple/Black
Rear Left - +Green -Green/Black
