Question about Kenmore 15899 Built-in Dishwasher
We just had it repaired a couple of months ago for a blown wire. The wires seem fine. But it didn't complete it's last rinse cycle and I can get no power from it now. Nothing lights up and I get no response out of it. Any ideas. I really don't want to have to pay for another repair job. I could buy another one for the cost of two repair trips.
Check your breaker first. If your breaker is fine , then remove inner door panel by taking out screws. Next remove cover from control panel, and replace control panel fuse. Write down the make and model # of your dishwasher, then go to appliance store buy new fuse. Then you will know what it looks like. Then you will be able to replace the one in the control panel. Afterwards seal control panel cover with silicone, and reassemble. that should fix your problem, but if not we would be more than happy to assist you further.
