160gb ipod reporting 1439 fault,will syn in i tunes but will not restore to factory settings,tryed resetting but still same probs.ipod saying disk is full but will not play or load games

Format the hdd through "my computer" then unplug it and try to do a factory restore again worked for my 80 gb ipod video
